Bio
My name is Jacob Paddock, I am a 23 year-old, Westfield State University Alumni with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and a minor in Psychology and an accompanying concentration in Art Therapy.
My siblings and I were abruptly orphaned in early 2018, and I have come a long way since then. I take pride in the young man that my parents built the foundation for and the man that they knew I would grow to be. My mother and father often told me to "Remember who you are and what you represent." Through me, they live on and it is my mission to capture life, the world around us as a way to experience it for them, from the grandest of canyons, down to the tiniest of pebbles.
I was able to do this when I was selected for the National Conference on Undergraduate Research alongside other hand-picked artists to paint one of three murals on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. A position that I believe was only made possible by both my artistic measure and the teachings of brilliant professors such as Nigerian-American visual artist Imo Nse Imeh, contemporary American figurative painter David Shapleigh, and Boston-born oil painter Gabriel Phipps.
